I am always amazed each time I attend these personal development calls that they are mostly uplifting and have an “uncanny knack” of always talking directly to what’s going on with me at that time.

What I have observed on my own network marketing company training calls is that those who actively share and participate in this process are the ones who are having the breakthroughs. They are also the ones who are advancing up the pin levels.

You will never know what word or phrase or action that you contribute by being an active participant that will make a difference and cause the breakthrough the others on the call. But if you follow the Law of Attraction guidelines you must first give before you can receive. That alone is reason enough to be an active participant in the calls.

As I eluded to earlier by my comment that you’re on your way the act of active participation will filter through into all areas of your life.

How Being An Active Participant Transfromed My Life

I am now becoming the person I am aspiring to be. For me each of the calls I’ve attended have been an invaluable extension of the training I’ve received from the various annual camps and conventions [events] I’ve attended.

Thanks to the group wisdom in these calls I’ve grown as a human being, son, husband, father, friend by becoming an active participant in my own life.

I see now with my perfect 20:20 hindsight this occurred as I started to take on board the coaching given and do what was suggested without hesitation.

Building your own list of subscribers, is without a doubt one of the most important tasks you can do in your daily activities as an internet network marketer. Having a responsive list is essential for the success of your funded proposal.

To effectively build your responsive list on autopilot you need:

• a lead-capture page
• an autoresponder linked to your lead-capture page
• follow-up campaign in your autoresponder
• effective marketing to promote your lead-capture page

From personal experience I can tell you it will take you many hours of heart ache and lots of dollars to master building your own list. However, I sure just like me you will find the most responsive list by far will be the list of subscribers that you build yourself.

My most responsive list by far is the list of subscribers that I built myself using my own branded capture page and autoresponder. Quite frankly no purchased list has ever been as responsive.

I believe it is vitally important to brand yourself to build your own list if you want to carve out a niche for yourself as an internet network marketer. Following are some of the main reasons why I believe this:

1. people opting-in to request information from you usually want to receive it. This makes your list the most targeted and interested audience.
2. people usually use their private contact e-mail address to subscribe when they “bond” with you. Which means they are more likely to read the information you send them.
3. people on your list will start recognizing your name and look forward to receiving your email after they have received a couple of messages from you, if they find your letters useful. When that happens they will be more likely to continue listening to you and eventually see you as an authority on the subject.
4. you can continue to build your relationship with people on your list. If you provide your name and your contact information, it increases your credibility and gives your subscribers a chance to contact you if they have questions.
5. you can send mulitiple letters promoting the same product to the same people. You’ve heard that it takes people about 7 times on average to see the offer before they decide to join or purchase.

When you have set up your autoresponder this is all accomplished automatically on your behalf.

It’s a ’set-and-forget’ system!

If you are a new to internet network marketing your biggest worry is having quality letters promoting your main business. If you don’t have the time or the expertise to set it up right you could be costing yourself big dollars.

ViralURL has become an effective marketing method for me now. This was not always the case. It was only after I learnt the ad copy secrets I’m going to share in this post that response to my ads improved from a mere trickle to something far more desirable.

Headline or Subject Line

Having a strong headline is critical to the success of your ad as this is what first grabs your readers attention and makes them to open your ad. Get his piece wrong and you ad will not be opened! If your ad is not opened you have no chance of having a lead subscribe to you list.

See what I mean about crucial?

The hallmarks of a good headline include “the declaration of a known problem faced by your target audience and contain the subtle promise that you have the product or service that could solve their problem”

This is easier said than done! It is very difficult to express all of that into the ideal headline of 5 or 6 words. That’s part of the reason why it is vital that you track your ads to see which are converting for you. And I don’t just mean click throughs, I mean click throughs that convert to sales.

It is best practice to make sure your headline is credible and not hype, as everyone knows that “If it sounds too good to be true - it’s most likely to be that - Not True!” If you use misleading headlines you deserve to suffer the wrath of your enraged reader. Do this and you run the risk of them forwarding your email on to appropriate authorities. Something to be avoided.

It is best practice to avoid using words such as “Amazing”, “Remarkable” or “Opportunity”.

It is far more effective and fruitful to use Headlines that start with a “How to…” because they appeal to the reader’s emotions and curiosity causing them to want to know the answer and open the e-mail.

Another effective headline is one that is written as a command, such as “Double your traffic…” These attract attention because they provide information about the main benefit(s) your product can deliver.

For even more visual impact use headlines that stand out. If you think about how you look at ads your eyes will always look first at the headlines that stand out. Following are several ways this can be achieved:

– placing characters to indent your subject ie: ==>
– starting your headline with the following
[[NEWS]] ……..
[[NOTICE]] ………
[[ANNOUNCEMENT]] …….
[[NEWS]] …..

TIP If you are stuck for a headline go study subject lines by other marketers and see which ones catch your attention and why.

The Body of the Message (the ad copy)

The ad copy or body of the ad is used to outline the main benefit(s) to your reader. Whatever you do don’t describe your product, but rather describe how the reader is going to benefit from your product and especially focusing on what makes your product or service unique.

If you have truly done your homework on your target market you’ll be able to tailor the content to your target audience.

Ideally your copy should be brief and easy to read with short paragraphs of around 3 to 5 lines of text per paragraph, with no more than 65 characters per line.

Testing has proved to me that personalizing your ad does increases the response rate, so use it thoughout the copy and in your headline. The only proviso here is use personalization in your headline as long as it doesn’t make the headline to long.

A Call To Action

It is human nature to follow instructions. We have been trained to do this since we were born. So having a clear set of instructions included in your ad copy will increase the chances of a positive result. For example “instruct them to subscribe to your list and get your free gift which is sold elsewhere for $$ [high perseved value] and they better do it now before it is taken down”
