When you have a crystal clear vision for your life, making choices actually becomes so much easier.

So why does having a crystal clear vision make your life easier? You maybe surprised by the answer to this question

Because all you need to do when you you are in the process of making a decision, is ask yourself “what choice would fit best with my vision?” Which option will help me realize (part of) the life I am envisioning?

Ultimately, all the choices you make and all the actions you take need to bring you closer to the achievement of your goals.

If they don’t, why make that specific choice, right?

Having a vision board can support you in this process. Because your vision board is a direct representation of your vision and your goals, you can actually use it as a “road map” for your life. So each time you are about to make a choice big or small all you have to do is have a look at your vision board and ask yourself “is what I am about to choose in line with my bigger aspirations, my life vision?”

When you think about it, even the most every day choices like what food to eat, what books to read or how early you get up in the morning can be inspired by the goals on your vision board.

So make sure to have total clarity on your vision and have it all around you as a daily guide towards your life goals.

Creating Your Vision Board

There are several ways you can create an effective vision board.

• Make your own using images cut out of your favorite magazines or newspapers. An A3 artists pad is great for this process. Each day or each week you can have your vision book open on a new page.

• Use an online service or buy a system which is purpose built with images and suggested affirmations to use that you download onto your computer. My favorite of these is a sytem called Mind Movie. A free alternative is Movie Maker which comes installed with most microsoft products these days. The downside to using movie maker is you are on your own and have to supply your own images and affirmation list.

• Another alternative is using Vision Boards. This system is also purchased one time. Vision Board lets you create a screen saver movie. This same movie can also be burnt to CD or loaded to youtube.

I have used each of these systems. They all work. The secret is to keep updating them as you achieve or change your goals.
