This video was posted in 2008. With the way the information age is exploding where are we now? Have these numbers tripled - quadruppled or more?

Pretty amazing really. But my focus in this blog is is ask the question “if things have changed that much with technology where is the best place to market to MLM’ers on the net?”

With all the free information that is now available as interested parties try to stake their claim on the internet and make their mark what is now actually working?

How as one marketing in the MLM niche do you get yourself infront of the hungry crowd? And find the fresh MLM leads?

WHERE ARE THEY? And where are they hooked in?

• Blogging?
• Twitter?
• Facebook?
• MySpace?
• LinkIn?
• Friendster?
• Squidoo?
• Hubpages?

Wow certainly food for thought don’t you think? !!

I know over the years of being on the net I’ve tried all of these. I tested the water so to speak. They are all still out there - most just as I left them, in particial stages of completion. Good or bad that’s once out there on the net they stay.

Did those strategies work? Are they still working for me?

Those are great questions which I can sum up easily. If I had continued to add to them over time [and completed them - sad to say] I believe they would have become more successful strategies to bring me fresh MLM leads.

Over time I came to realise with my dabbling that good quality content was king and those that were having success had two things in common.

1. They excelled in the medium they were using and became expert users
2. They only produced quality unique content - no PLR stuff

My Turning Point

Sadly what happened for me in the early years was that I became overwhelmed with it all and I jumped to the next great attraction marketing thing that came along. Which is a trap you can fall into if you are not weary.

I moved from each marketing strategy because I became bored with what I was doing. Truth be know I couldn’t settle on just a couple of strategies which was really all that the time I had available permitted.

The best thing I ever did was stop trying to do it all myself. That was when I started to look into the various so called “generic marketing” or “self-branding systems” available for MLM’ers. I joined many. A lot of them were crap. You can read my funded proposal marketing system review here.
